Beyonce Knowles temporary Tattoo

First out was Chanel (but some claim it was Louis Vuitton), then came Topshop with a cool budget version (of course) and now the celebrities are following the trend (naturally). Singer Beyonce Knowles will launch her own line of temporary tattoos. Inspired by Chanels beautiful trademark chains and cute birds and roses, Beyonce will take it a step further by going even darker. Insects like spiders and scorpions and jewelry and diamonds will all be included in the $16 packet that will be sold at Sephora from the 1st of November.

Urban Outfitters loves Scandinavia

Being Scandinavian has never been as hot as now : ) Urban Outfitters have invited a few Swedish designers to create a capsule collection each for the high-street chain. Rodebjer, Carin Wester, Dagmar and danish Wood Wood and Stine Goya will all have a few pieces sold in at least two stores in NY. Let’s just hope the trendy New Yorkers will get as excited about the Scandinavian fashion as we are up here in the north.

Leather pieces: Jumpsuit, dresses…

Still high on leather but had enough of the Celine look-alikes? Let me present you with a leather jumpsuit, a dusty pink leather swing dress or why not a simple black paneled one for a more polished look?

Emilio Pucci Animal Print Suede Sandals

Emilio Pucci have definitely designed the most amazing leopard print heels I’ve ever seen. They don’t feel very Pucci, but still amazing. Cut exactly where I want them to be in the calf, cut-out details, peep-toe, stud-embellishments, exposed zip in the back. Simply perfect.

Zara LookBook October 2010

Zara’s look-book’s are out on the net faster than ever. It’s a new lookbook what feels like every other day. And they always make me want to run to the closest Zara store and buy everything. Only problem is that a high number of girls you’re meeting on your way to the store is wearing a top-to-toe Zara lookbook outfit already. Which means everything you wanted will be sold out. So apart from the pieces not being available, you’ll also have a slight turnoff over the clothes even before managing to get to the shop. It’s unbelievable but truth. At least it’s like this Stockholm. Everyone is stylish here, but we all look the same. Yes, unfortunately I have to include myself in this boring crowd of “fashionistas”. It’s not by purpose, far away from it. It’s just a thing that happens. But still, love for Zara.

Lady Gaga + Giorgio Armani

It’s now confirmed that Armani and Lady Gaga is teaming up and Armani will design all her crazy creations she will be wearing for her hext world tour. Only problem that I see is: well, Armani are very Armani and do I even need to go into more details to why he and his fashion house are so NOT Lady Gaga. At least Armani’s niece Alberta explains that “It wouldn’t be possible to give Gaga a look from the collection because she wears pieces of art. It’s theatrical.” All we know so far is that each piece will be custom made, apart from that, it’s very hush hush around the whole project.

Balmain s/s 2010

Am I the only one feeling that we’re kind of over and done with the whole rock chic, sequins, leather trousers, power-shoulder blazers and ripped jeans all in one outfit look, combined together a’la Balmain and all the high-street chains that copied it hardcore for a very long and painful time? Round one of Christophe Decarnin’s beginning of the new signature look was simply amazing and was The collection on everyone’s lips and all over the editorials in every major magazine. Round two passed and with the help of the striped Breton top in sequins the collection got all the attention it needed/wanted. But now, it’s just plain boring to see them do the same thing again..or am I too harsh? It is Balmain after all. But I just want to see them bring something new to the catwalk.
