Shearling is everywhere and on everything this season. It’s almost shocking how quick the high-street chains copies the fashion houses nowadays. Fall is just around the corner but the big fall trends are already out in stores. Every season, there’s always that one trend that is just everywhere. On the street, on the catwalk, on fashion editors, to fashionistas to your normally very un-fashionable cousin. At the moment, I would say it’s the shearling. Goosh, it’s freakin everywhere. I still have my old shearling collar that’s removable and that I just move around from jacket to blazer etc when I feel like bringing out that winter feeling. But it’s quite ridiculous how over-done this trend already is, considering it’s not even fall yet. But IF, you’re not puking at shearling YET, you might want to “invest” in a piece of the biggest fall trends this year. Pls, go for budget alternatives. It’s worth repeating, this trend will be over and done before the end of the year. Maximum. Or just go with a small shearling detail, whatever you do: don’t build your whole outfit around it.
