Roberto Cavalli’s Fall 2010 show was a trip back in time. This was a celebration to his first customers and the woman that first started buying Roberto Cavalli’s clothes. It was a great mix between heavy fabrics, brocades, velvet, military chic and my absolute favorite: the backless, wide flowy maxi dresses. The overall feeling was boho-chic and 70′s in a updated way. Everything felt bleached and a feeling of yesterday was printed all over the clothes. Even his signature leopard prints was bleached and looked old and used. Loved it! The layer-on-layered styling strengthen the boho theme. The harem pants and loosely fitted looks assured this to be a winning collection. Even though Roberto Cavalli have been designing and creating fashion for the last 40 years, he just proved that he will continue for many years to come.
