Since I’m a huge Marni fan, I was very excited to view the Fall 2010 show here in Milan. Let’s say it was probably the best show of the week. I loved the collection. Almost every pieces of it. The color palette was wonderful, turquoise, red, soft brown shade and they just worked perfectly together. Simple and minimal elegance but being as far away from boring as it can possibly be. All the looks was carefully put together to perfection and I have to credit the styling. Signature statement necklaces and chunky footwear was on show and accompanied with blouses and shorts, coats, maxi dresses and twin sets. Skirts was build-up and padded at the hips to give a stronger silhouette and was matched together with knee-high socks and matching jackets. Loved the “home-made” circulated Marni pattern that was decorating the beautiful maxi dresses. I can’t be critical against this collection, it was simply perfect.
