It’s with sorrow I have to report that Alexander McQueen won’t be attending his show the 9th of Mars during Paris fashion week this year. He was found dead this morning in his home, just a week after his mother died. Nothing is confirmed yet but rumors is that he committed suicide in his apartment in central London. The lost of his mother made him very depressed and he couldn’t take it any longer. McQueen was one of our times most provocative and talented designers and at the age of 40, he had already won many prestigious designer prices and many committed fans for his fashion house. R.I.P Alexander McQueen!

“On behalf of Lee McQueen’s family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand, has been found dead at his home.”At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee’s family.
