Every season, there’s a new jeans brand that are The jeans brand of the moment. It’s normally seen on fashionistas and celebrities around the globe and sold for quite a hefty price. Current/ Elliott is the jeans brand on everybody’s lips at the moment. It’s the new it-jeans, funny there’s even something called it-jeans these days. Even though a pair of jeans is supposed to be a time-less piece of clothing, it now dates out of your wardrobe faster than your it-bag. But ppl in the industry seems to be blessed by these designers creations and are sure they are here to stay.
The duo behind the brand is Emily Current and Meritt Elliott, both stylist who met back in 2008 and realized they both wanted to start a new denim concept. Both of them have been styling together for big publications as well as for celebrities, so it’s really no surprise that the brands big popularity have something to do with the fact that a huge number of celebs have been seen wearing their jeans in public.
The jeans come in many different washes, colors and models. Current/ Elliott jeans is loved by trendsetters, stylists and the modernist. The lady who wants to keep up with the trends and see the importance of staying up-do-date on the fashion front.
Even though it’s a fashion piece, we’re sure this jeans are here to stay for a couple of years. The jeans are a nice alternative to the classic blue one. The fact that they have so many models and washes, makes it easier for the consumer to find a model that fits perfectly. The designers are sure that their jeans will be loved for years to come and is sure that when their jeans become vintage pieces, their jeans will “transcend denim trends with it’s everlasting aesthetics”. Vogue didn’t call this jeans “the most refreshing denim line to come out of LA’s jeans scene in a long, long time”, for no reason.
