Gucci Goes Green

November 9th, 2009 ·

Gucci have promised to go green and try to save the rainforest. They have joined forces with the Rainforest Action Network and agreed to stop using paper from Indonesian rainforest as well as avoiding paper from Asia Pulp and Paper. I’m not sure how much difference one single company can create, but at least the thought is good. Go Gucci!!

“Standing rainforests are not a luxury, they’re a necessity if the world wants to stop climate change. Our actions are lowering our own carbon footprint, but we hope that they will also raise awareness inside the fashion industry that it’s possible for our industry to make a difference for rainforests and for the climate.”
