I think it’s pretty fun that all (almost all) fashion magazines use photo shop to make their models look thinner when Love Magazine choose to go in the opposite direction and retoch Beth Ditto’s cover to make her look bigger.

I am a full figured woman who is not ashamed of my looks. However, I think Beth Ditto makes the rest of us healthier sized girls look like nasty slobs. I think she is a very poor icon. You can wear clothes that accentuate and highlight your curves without looking trashy. She really grosses me out. Queen Latifah is stunning and not afraid of her body. She would be a better role model than Ditto. Also, it would appear that they DID airbrush her, and smaller too:
