Ritsuko Shirahama was the designer who surprised us most today. Ritsuko Shirahama invited us to the exhibition at the Hillside Terace, Hillside Plaza. The showing was divided into three parts where each of the three rooms had it’s own presentation. The designers main inspiration was food and concentrated to fruits and veggies. In the first part, we viewed photos of organic ad non-organic fruits and vegs but also ruffled dresses and skirts with small flower patterns and exciting cuts. The head exhibition was in room 2 where the designer presented us with 6 different outfits that was knit and each of them presented one fruit or vegetable. We were handed a glass of bubble and noticed the baby-carrot swimming in it. Ok, we got the point. The outfits was circulated by huge amounts of real cut fruit/vegs in the same color. Very artful, and very new-thinking. The last room contained beautiful couture dresses. We left the exhibition very inspired but hungry!
