Fur Fur A/W 09, Tokyo Fashion week

Anya Furuhasi’s show at the Lafaret Museum was something of it’s own. As we walked in to the room I noticed my platforms get stuck on the straws layered out on the floor. Hmm…something was to come. And it certainly did. The girls slowly walked in with clumps of straws on their head and their hair combed out to an big afro. The impression was styled farmers girls. Dressed in a effortless way of layering a lot of pieces ready to sneak out for a rendezvous. Linen, transparent, ruffles, loose fitted and crumpled in a incredible mix together. And to not mention the show that had a history to tell…Very impressive, very inspiring…

Looks like it was a great show! Looks like it was very surreal and profound, two things that make any gathering very, very memorable.
