Unless you’re made of money, there’s some things you should learn to spend less money on without looking cheap. If you are a dress-girl who buys loads of dresses in different colors, patterns, models, lengths, seasonal and don’t like to use the same dress a lot of times make sure those “one time used” dresses hasn’t coast you loads of money.

If you’re likely to buy 25 dresses every season and not 3, but cheaper dresses. Look for trendy dresses in budget stores like H&M, Topshop, Forever21 so on…
The dresses you’ll keep and use over and over again, and looks good on you years after you bought them doesn’t always have to be the one’s you spend loads of money on. It can as well be that old cheap dress thats looking better and better the more it’s used.
It can be your mother’s or even grandmothers old dress. It can also be something you have made yourself. If it sounds impossible to just buy fabric and make your own dress, experiment with what you already have. If it’s a piece you haven’t been using for a long time, simple because something is wrong with how the dress looks on you, don’t be afraid to try and change the look of the dress. If it have been laying unused in the darkest corner of your wardrobe for over a year, you wouldn’t miss it even if you happened to destroy it while you wear playing with it and tried to change it.
If you’re the trendy girl who always want to have the “latest” stuff, look in the budget stores. It’s impressive how fast they manage to “copy” the catwalk trends and sell them for less.
Look in vintage stores, remember that the trends of this season as more than likely been trendy before. Many designers seeks for inspiration by back in time and by vintage founds. The chances are very big that you’ll find todays trends in vintage stores or in the closet of your mother/female relatives.
If you have a brother/boyfriend/ friend with similar sizes to your self, go and seek for stuff in his wardrobe. I do it all the time. Why go and buy a oversize shirt when I can take his and it will be handsomely oversized on me : ) even old t-shirts goes perfectly with old skinny jeans. The “boyfriend cardigan” is a must in every girls wardrobe and if you don’t want to buy a new one, yo know where you can get it. Perfect for those cosy nights or a chilly day in town.
Or why not organize girls-evenings with your friends where everyone brings what they don’t want/need/use anymore and you switch clothes with each other? Or why not sell you unwanted things on Ebay and buy new stuff?
There’s endless way to dress for less!

Picking the long-lasting pair of what-in-trends also can help you save your budget. These kind of wardrobe is usually something that is in the fading process, but ain’t obsolete enough to be left out.
