Diane Von Furstenberg is now suing spanish label Mango for Copyright infringement. Mango has copied Furstenberg’s ”Macaroon Striped Design” and “Tahitian Stripe Design” and is selling dresses and tops that are identical to Furstenbergs. Mango agreed to stop selling these items after talking with Diane, but the clothes were still selling in Mango stores for another month after the agreement. And now, Mango just changed their mind. They claim that the clothes is designed by Mango and that they are not removing them from stores. I really hope this will stop happening soon. It’s not fair and very amoral to steal/copy/redesign someone else’s clothes.
