Here is a little lesson in Vintage clothing for those of you who find these interesting, which I suppose is everyone. Clothes from the 1920s til 1980s is called vintage. There are many reasons to why you should choose vintage clothing. Besides the uniqness of the clothes which should be reason enough for any fashionated person, the clothes are most often either made in a small quanity or only made for one person. Vintage has a much better quality than alot of clothes made today. The clothes are often made to be passed on to other family members and are therefore made from robust materials.Vintage clothes is most often handmade with expensive buttons and in an exclusive way. They are made by old fabrics that are very hard to find today and when do finding them they are very expensive. As you probably already realized, a lot of designers gets inspired by vintage clothes when designing there collections. This means that you can find a lot of todays trends by looking into grandmas old wardrobe. Some of the most popular vintage clothes is designed by Coco Chanel, Hubert de Givenchy, Christobal Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, Georgio Armani and Gianni Versace. I found one dark beautifully designed 60’s dress and two lovely white dresses that I fell in love with : ) The white dress to the left is lace dress lined with a self colored fabric and is just lovely. The dress to the right is a elegant linen dress from the 50s. I found these dresses vintagetrends.com

I strongly agree that Vintage clothes is unique… Every single detail, esp made by hand is so much appreciated. There is charm, mystery and uniqueness combined, which are in my opinion most important factors in our wardrobe. What can be better than vintage Coco Chanel dress?
